Anna Whelan is an Israeli-American artist and printmaker. Her work draws on her childhood in Israel of the 1990’s and on themes of immigration, girlhood, generational trauma, and rites of passage. Her art explores the workings of violence and fear, from both within and without communities, in shaping the lives and identities of women and girls.
