Sunday Showcase

No. 45 - Ilan Dotan

Ilan Dotan is our Sunday Showcase! With a keen eye for color and expert drawing techniques, this Israeli painter brings a fresh perspective to daily life. From New York to Tel Aviv, Ilan’s work has captivated audiences and left them in awe of his talent.

About the artist:

Ilan Dotan is an Israeli painter based in Tel Aviv. He studied at the New York Studio School and under the Israeli painter, Jan Rauchwerger. Ilan uses traditional mediums (oil paints, linen) to render the subject matter of contemporary daily life. The essence of color is repeatedly vivid in his work yet controlled drawing techniques are always admirably present as well. Ilan has lived and exhibited his work in New York and in Tel Aviv, where he has worked in a painting studio for the past ten years.

Alongside the magazine, Sunday Showcase provides additional opportunities for emerging artists and writers to share their work and gain exposure. There are no themes or deadlines, simply email us your best work for a chance to get featured across all of our channels. We accept writing of any genre and visual art of all mediums.
