Sunday Showcase

No. 25 - Kabaim (Shlomi Sindel)

Our Sunday Showcase this week is Kabaim (Shlomi Sindel)! The bright colors, abstract compositions, and symbols in Kabaim’s paintings reflect the artist’s journey to find healing and joy within a reality of impermanence and mortality.

About the artist:

Kabaim (Shlomi Sindel), born in 1996 in Bat Yam, is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist. He acquired much of his artistic knowledge and attitude from his late father, who was also a painter. Kabaim’s work centers on healing while acknowledging the impermanence of all life. The colorful bones that appear in many of his paintings represent the contrast of living fully and freely, while accepting our own mortality. Kabaim creates most of his work with acrylic, oil, and spray paint on canvas and paper.

Alongside the magazine, Sunday Showcase provides additional opportunities for emerging artists and writers to share their work and gain exposure. There are no themes or deadlines, simply email us your best work for a chance to get featured across all of our channels. We accept writing of any genre and visual art of all mediums.
