We are excited to present filmmaker Matti Lang, our Sunday Showcase this week. His short film, “Song of Myself, Reimagined,” overlays Walt Whitman’s transcendental poem with a series of dream-like images, transporting the viewer beyond space and time.
Matti Lang is a filmmaker living in Jerusalem. He is a student in the open university and a film journalist writing for Seret. He has made many short films, mainly narrative but also documentary and video art. Other than film, his passion is poetry, which he loves to read and incorporate into his art.
