This week on the Sunday Showcase we’re excited to present a sample of work by Adir Yakobi. Design and functionality intersect in the objects, furniture, and light fixtures Adir creates, each of which seems to come from a dream or made-up world or faraway planet. We love keeping up with his work and visiting his studio in Florentin.
Adir Yakobi is an artist residing in Tel Aviv. He is interested in creating new forms, textures, and materials, and presents them in functional mediums. Alongside his architectural lighting collection, Adir’s passion is creating collectible design-art objects and furniture. He is currently involved in international architectural projects and presentations. Recently, he presented work in Milan and New York.
